Welcome to Keats Driving School
Keats Driving School was started for a simple reason: helping people feel comfortable, confident and capable behind the wheel.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I ran a local wood-fired pizza business called Baytree Pizza. During that time, several people who worked with us were learning to drive and often came to me for advice. I found that the way I explained things just clicked for them — calm guidance, clear explanations and a bit of patience made a real difference.
One moment that really stuck with me was helping a team member who struggled with parking. After breaking things down clearly and practically, she went on to confidently park a Transit van — something she never thought she’d be able to do. Seeing that boost in confidence was a real turning point.
That experience showed me that good driving instruction isn’t about pressure or rushing. It’s about understanding people, building confidence step by step, and helping learners realise they’re more capable than they think.
That’s the approach Keats Driving School is built on today.
